Our partner operates with 1600+ colleagues in Budapest, coming from 32 different nationalities and supporting 22 countries around the world. On their behalf, we are looking for a R2R Junior Manager.

To ensure the achievement of strategic business objectives set for the unit by elaborating implementation methods and coordinating the work of the unit, under the direction of a local top manager. To establish policies and procedures in own area. To deliver the agreed service levels and meet the defined KPI's, team deliverables and timelines. To manage an area without Team Leaders, coach and manage the team. Acts as SPOC to key stakeholders for inquiries and escalations.
• Decide about resource planning
• Manage a mixed team of professionals/simple routine jobs
• Communicate to higher levels
• Break the change plan down to an annual action plan and drive execution using available resources efficiently and effectively
• Translate strategic goals into relevant processes; make sure that relevant processes and documentation are followed by setting controls and targets; in charge of stakeholder management and escalation point
• Empower teams to challenge the status quo and to utilize available CPI tools, techniques and channels for Process Improvement, beside own ideas
• Act as a role model and being responsible for strengthening control environment framework by monitoring the fulfilment of compliance requirements
• Responsible to ensure seamless month end closure, Management and Financial reporting
• To ensure Adherence of SOX Controls & KPIs
• Review of Team’s key deliverables to ensure they are 100% quality compliant and ensure they are delivered well within timelines
• Review of financials with Head of Finance and other Finance partners and facilitate decision making
• Support Internal and External Audits
• Qualified Accountant with 6+ years of Accounting experience in General Ledger team
• Should have team leading experience of 3+ years
• Fluent in English communication skills and Italian/Czech would be added advantage
• Experience in HFM consolidation and reporting
