We are currently seeking for an experienced Category Manager, based in Budapest. In this role, you will be working closely with and reporting directly to Market Procurement Head. Some of your main responsibilities will include securing internal customer support and conducting procurement activities for direct material and services, support compliance of our procurement processes and execute regional and local Procurement and Supplier Strategies for specific spend categories.
Tasks:
- Develop and execute regional and local Procurement and Supplier Strategies for specific spend categories
- Secure internal customer support and conduct procurement activities for direct material and services
- Lead and deliver innovative category management across spend area securing availability of goods and services
- Contract- and Supplier relationship management
- Execute professional tenders
- Develop and execute professional sourcing strategies for the assigned spend categories
- constant market observation on price-, supplier-, market- product development and innovation.
- Build working relationships with key stakeholders, other category teams, suppliers and external partners
- Participate in in-house and external trainings
- Flexibility for ocassional business travel
Expectations:
- Degree in Business admin/Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in similar position and industry
- Experience with strategic sourcing and execution of professional tenders, contract – and supplier relationship management
- Project management skills
- Experience in procurement processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) – advanced Excel
- English B2 level – oral and written form
- Fluent in Hungarian
- Organised, proactive, self-motivated person, ability to multi-task
