About our Partner:
Are you interested in diode-pumped lasers? Would you like to work for the global leader company in lasers? We are looking for you! Our Partner is provider of lasers and laser-based technology for scientific, commercial and industrial customers. They are hiring a Production Engineer in Lübeck.

Responsibilities:

• Production/ assembly/ adjustment/ testing of prototypes of complex laser system
• Training of colleagues from other Asian locations on the laser systems to be transferred and transfer of knowledge as “know-how carrier” for the laser system
• Create basic documentation outlining manufacturing process methods and routine instructions
• Compiling components and assemblies into a bill of materials – in close consultation with the R&D department
• Communicate deviations to the involved interfaces
• Involved in product and process optimizations to ensure manufacturability in Singapore/ China/ Thailand
• Responsible for tasks/sub-projects within the scope of Continuous Engineering
• Validation of technical changes of prototypes and product improvements
• Supports with experience in the design process to increase manufacturability
• Accompanies the definition of manufacturing costs, timelines, manufacturing resources and sequence requirements
• Coordinate collaboration with Singapore/ China/ Thailand and be the first point of contact for production deviations

Requirements:

• Completed university or technical college studies in physics, laser technology/physical engineering or a comparable natural or engineering science
• Very good written and spoken English skills as well as project management know-how
• Knowledge in the application of optical, mechanical and electronic measurement technology, as well as knowledge in optics/laser technology and mechanics
• Excellent communication skills and a quality-conscious work style combined with a high level of customer orientation
• Willingness to travel internationally on business
