Plant Quality Engineer

Our partner is a Canadian-Korean multinational company who manufactures e-motors and offers a suite of electrified powertrain solutions including inverters and onboard chargers. They are opening a new facility in Miskolc, Hungary in 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Development, implementation and maintenance of quality assurance plans and procedures.
• Continuous monitoring and analysis of the quality of production and production processes.
• Identify, analyse and resolve quality problems and deviations.
• Development and improvement of quality systems and procedures.
• Ensuring the quality of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products.
• Training and supporting employees in meeting quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and regulations.
• Ensure that quality objectives are achieved and that the quality policy is adhered to.
• Maintenance and updating of quality documentation.
• Identify and propose continuous improvement of quality processes and systems.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance regulations and compliance with appropriate regulations.
• Participation in quality audits and evaluation of their results.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree Engineering or technical degree, preferred in quality assurance or manufacturing field.
• At least 5-7 years of professional experience in quality assurance or production.
• Experience in developing and improving quality systems and procedures.
• Experience in managing quality requirements of suppliers and buyers.
• Experience in conducting and evaluating quality audits.
• Good knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods and tools (pl. ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
• Good understanding of drawing specification and GD&T
• Good understanding and experience of customer requirement (i.e VDA 6.3)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Communication and negotiation skills.
• Work independently, take a responsible and proactive attitude.
• Computer skills (MS Office, quality assurance software).
• Communication English language skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret qualitative data.
• Ability to work in teams and work with different departments.
• Ability to communicate and present efficiently and effectively.
