IT Help Desk Technician with German and English

About the Role:
At our multinational partner company as an IT Help Desk Technician, you will assist users with IT equipment remotely. When a user reports an issue, the technician first diagnoses the problem, intervenes remotely by taking control of the computer, or calls in another specialized technician if necessary.
Key Tasks:- In the first 3 months on-site support in the Partner Company's X. District office in Budapest, afterwards hybrid work is available in our XIII. District office.
- Handling level 1 incidents related to workstations and office IT.
- Responding to user calls.
- Understanding the situation by asking precise questions or rephrasing explanations.
- Diagnosing hardware or software issues remotely.
- Identifying necessary resources for problem resolution and recommending on-site technician visits if needed.
- Guiding users through resolution steps or taking remote control of the system.
- Changing or repairing faulty components.
- Conducting functionality tests.
- Documenting interventions and forwarding them to the relevant department.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency in both English and German
- Proficiency in Windows environments.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of messaging systems.
- Experience with at least one incident management and remote support tool.
Soft Skills:- Demonstrating pedagogy, patience, and availability when dealing with sometimes demanding users is also a key success factor
