Key Responsibilities and Success Factors:
• Design, develop and maintain fully automated infrastructure and application deployment pipelines that enable rapid, consistent, and secure software releases
• Implement and maintain robust, scalable and future-proof cloud infrastructure that meets the needs of our customer’s growing business
• Optimize cloud resource utilization to balance performance needs with cost efficiency
• Create comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems that identify potential issues before they impact customers
• Demonstrate proactive system monitoring, incident response and resolution,
minimizing system downtime
• Security analysis and response: Implement security best practices across infrastructure, container and application layers
• Build and maintain documentation that enables knowledge sharing and consistent implementation
• Staying on top of industry best practices and trends, as well as changes to
compliance requirements
• Successfully implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to ensure reproducibility and scalability
• Collaborate effectively with the development teams to improve implementation and deployment processes

Experience:
• 8+ years experience in DevOps, SRE, Operations and/or Development
• Strong background in automating cloud infrastructure deployment and
management
• Extensive experience with containerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes
• Proven track record of implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code
• Experience managing AWS cloud environments, particularly EKS and Lambda
• History of implementing and managing robust monitoring and alerting systems
• Background in system and application security hardening
• Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB, SingleStore, and Redis
• Track record of successfully implementing CI/CD pipelines

Technical Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
related field (appreciated but not mandatory)
• Strong coding skills for infrastructure automation
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Pulumi, CDK8S, and Helmfile
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, particularly Amazon EKS
• Strong understanding of AWS services and architecture
• Experience with monitoring tools like the Grafana stack
• Proficiency with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD
• Working knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with web servers and proxies such as Nginx and HAProxy
• Understanding of search and analytics platforms like Elasticsearch
• Experience with data processing frameworks such as Spark
