Manpower IT Delivery Centre celebrates its 1st anniversary

Today our IT Delivery Centre celebrates its 1st year of adventures. What began as a vision has now flourished into a thriving hub of innovation, comprising nearly 100 skilled professionals specializing in game testing and other vital areas.

So, how did it all start?

Three years ago, we conducted a market analysis to identify areas where skillset is available on the local market, and we can ramp it up fast by hiring or by training our employees. Testing stood out as a promising area. Luckily, within ManpowerGroup, we already had experience in testing, especially in game testing. This offered us a wonderful opportunity to focus on game testing and work with clients from different countries.

Our clients liked the idea of launching a testing centre in Hungary, and that's how the Manpower Game Testing Centre began. Starting with just 30 game testers, we set out to redefine gaming excellence. Thanks to Hungary's talent pool and Manpower's recruitment excellence, our team grew to almost 100 professionals in a year.

Building everything from scratch was challenging but with careful planning and hard work, we created a strong foundation that met the highest standards. We kept track of our progress with detailed KPI reports. The support from our US counterparts was invaluable, refining our skills and keeping us ahead of industry trends. In a short time, we have proven that the Hungarian skillset is indeed excellent and within a brief time we achieved the quality our clients aim for.   

Reflecting on this exciting year, it's amazing to see how far we've come. At times, it feels like it was yesterday or a decade ago, yet it's also a reminder of the challenges we've overcome with resilience and determination.

Now, our IT Delivery Centre offers more than just testing. We've expanded our service portfolio with software development, cloud solutions, and SAP, becoming a one-stop IT service provider.

As we celebrate this milestone, we're excited about the future. Here's to many more years of growth, innovation, and success!
