Cloud Engineer (AWS)

About our Partner:

Our partner is a dynamic financial services company committed to embracing modern technologies. Their current Windows Server-based infrastructure is hosted on AWS, they are looking for an experienced expert in AWS Cloud-based technologies.

Tasks:

• Implement security best practices, oversee vulnerability management for AWS environments, ensure compliance with security standards, and drive mitigation strategies for identified risks and vulnerabilities,
• Continuously analyse risk related to cloud infrastructure, ensuring that potential vulnerabilities are addressed, and mitigation strategies are put in place,
• Suggest any technologies or solution ideas in the Cloud Platform Engineer team that could enable business for growth, improve productivity, reduce costs and support business change priorities to Architect team,
• Deliver infrastructure environment to support business needs and new projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent,
• AWS SysOps Administrator Associate or Professional level certificate,
• 3 years of experience in AWS cloud management,
• Good knowledge of cloud security best practices, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation in AWS environments,
• Good understanding of IT technology standards (firewalls, VPNs, SIEM, etc.),
• General understanding of ITIL and Agile methodologies,
• strong English knowledge (written and spoken).
