About our partner:Our internationally recognized partner company is looking for a new Team Leader to join the Central and Eastern European financial team in the field of finance and accounting. The selected candidate will play a key role in optimizing financial processes, increasing business efficiency, and maintaining financial controls.The Team Leader will also participate in the business control processes across eight countries in the region, ensuring the monitoring of KPIs, profitability analysis, and financial process transparency.
Responsibilities:- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial statements by supervising the chief accountant's work
- Prepare monthly performance reports and KPIs
- Review balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage banking relationships and oversee cash flow processes
- Monitor monthly cash flow and prepare accurate forecasts
- Supervise regional financial assets
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and standards
- Monitor billing accuracy
- Improve business efficiency and optimize financial processes within the region
- Communicate with external financial advisors, auditors, and authorities
- Collaborate with other departments and senior management to successfully implement the financial strategy
Requirements:- Degree in finance, accounting, or economics
- IFRS knowledge is essential
- At least 2 years of leadership experience
- Practical experience with financial systems and ERP platforms
- Experience in accounting and financial control
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Table, etc.)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of a Central or Eastern European language or German is an advantage
