Automation Expert

We are looking for someone with strong automation skills and who has prior experience with Observability tooling, which would be a plus. The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in this field. They will be working local hours while closely collaborating with the North American team.

Tasks:

• Develop automation pipelines for observability and internal configuration management.
• Implement monitoring as code for various service architectures at scale.
• Collaborate with developers and operations teams to gather requirements and deploy solutions.
• Automate tools and configuration management across cloud environments.
• Manage observability tools for SAP SuccessFactors across multiple data centers.
• Document and present methodologies to various teams.

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and monitoring-as-code using Terraform, Consul, and Vault.
• Proficiency in configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and public cloud environments.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Shell, and Python.
• Experience with build and deploy pipelines (Jenkins).
• Familiarity with collaborative development using Git, Jira, and agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Dynatrace, Splunk) is a plus.
• Experience with web/app servers (Nginx, Flask, Rails, Tomcat) is a plus.
• Knowledge of public cloud providers (preferably Azure and/or GCP).
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Service-oriented mindset with exposure to ITIL/ITSM, Six Sigma frameworks.
